First Ultrasound

At six weeks we had our first ultrasound. Ben and I were very excited to see the baby, but in all honesty there wasn't much to see. We were still under the care of the specialist, so we had to drive to Webster, TX (about an hour and 1/2) to have our apointment. Thankfully the baby was very healthy and the heartbeat was strong. During the ultrasound we were able to see the baby very clearly, but the picture did not come out as clear. When the heart would beat the baby seemed to glow. It was so neat. So tiny, about a quarter of an inch, and the heart was already beating. God is so amazing! The nurse told us that next time there will be much more to see, so hopefully I'll have better pictures to post at 10 weeks.
