12 Week Appointment

Hello everyone! Nothing too exciting to post today, but I wanted to let everyone know that I went to my OBGYN yesterday for my first appointment after being released from my specialist. The appointment went very well and the doctor told me that everything looked perfect! The baby's heartbeat was a strong 167 and it was really neat to finally get to hear it out loud. Dr. Rising told me that heartbeat/gender guessing is a wives's tale, so I guess we'll have to wait a few more weeks to find out what the baby will be. He said that I'm very healthy and he doesn't foresee any risk of miscarriage or complications, but I ask you to continue to pray for me and the baby's health & protection. On a happy note, I haven't gained any weight yet, but my belly is starting to show finally (barely). I will officially be done with my first trimester on Thursday, (I thought it would be over at 12 but it's over at 13 weeks) so I will take a belly picture to celebrate and will be sure to post it!
