5 Year Anniversary (6 months)

On May 29th Ben and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary. I can't believe we've been married that long, and at the same time it feels like we've always been together. We have grown so close in the past few years and continue to grow closer every day. With a baby close at hand, I'm glad that we have a strong friendship, love, & commitment to rest on. Ben truly is everything I need and want in a husband, not to mention father of my child. The Lord has molded, changed, and grown us closer to Him and each other and I pray that He will continue to do so for the rest of our lives.

We had a wonderful day together and had a romantic dinner on a secluded porch at Pappadeaux. Our plans were to go to our favorite restaurant in Galveston (LUIGI'S), but had to postpone our official date till the restaurant reopened the following week. We go there every year for our anniversary, so we didn't want to break tradition this year. So we actually had 2 anniversary dinners, but I'm not complaining!
